Along with exercise food is another aspect to improve the performance in sporting events. Food supplements like vitamins, minerals, herbs and amino acids can help to boost our performance. Vitamins are vital compounds that are essential for normal metabolic functions. They play important role in cell metabolism, acts a coenzyme for several enzyme reactions, Red Blood cell production and many more. As some vitamins cannot be synthesized by our body, they must be consumed through diet. Vitamins supplements are hugely used worldwide as they are important for a healthy lifestyle. There are total 13 vitamins divided into water soluble and fat soluble vitamins. Water soluble vitamins are vitamin C, K and B-complex vitamins; they are not stored in our body and should replenish constantly as supplements. Each B-Complex vitamins have their individual and unique properties.
